Oops I forgot to take a picture of the actual noodles – trust me you aren’t missing anything with the picture – it is all about the food and the noodles, particularly my favorite the cutting noodles, are divine. Although they are nothing special to look at, this is a great place to go for a casual dinner with friends. Handmade noodles are made in front of your eyes. The setting is nothing special although clean with no air conditioning at least at the Main Street location. Service is fast.
Legendary Noodle House – Vancouver, Main Street

Favourites include the cutting noodles with lamb, fried pea shoots with garlic (the best I have had in town, we often get 2 orders), any dumplings, noodles with spinach and peanut sauce. Some of the dishes we haven’t particularly liked were the fried pancake (a little dry) and the rice vermicelli with peanut sauce (which was a cold noodle dish with the main flavours being vinegar and mustard with no hint of the peanut taste in sight – in fact we were so confused that we asked the waitress whether maybe we got the wrong dish but she assured us it was the right one). Note that it is CASH only.
